The first greenhouse in the Old City of Jerusalem...A women’s agricultural project and micro-enterprise

Aws Kamal Ju’aidy is a 24-year-old young man and the eldest son in a family of five. With his father’ incapability of work brothers’ university fees, the income of the family used to derive from the public social development subsidies and the work of Aws as a plumber at a monthly wage of ILS 1,200.

The husband of Helana Abdel Rahim Abu Leymoon from Al-Fara’h village – Tobas governorate passed away 10 years ago lefting her with five children. Three of her children are suffering from a rare disease (deficiency of Protein S). This disease caused the death of one of her children and amputation of the leg of her daughter Rasha who is now 14 years old.
