ACAD starts vocational training courses in Jerusalem

Within the framework of “Advancing the Rights of Palestinian Vulnerable Women and Children in East Jerusalem” project, ACAD started the implementation of specialized and professional training courses that target women beneficiaries from this project. Currently, ACAD is implementing two training courses: the first is agricultural training implemented at Burj al-Laqlaq Community Society and the second is training in the field of food preparation and food catering services, which was implemented at Al-Domari Charitable Society.

The two training courses aimed at raising the capacities and skills of women beneficiaries to empower them to have access to the local market and compete in providing services of best quality. It’s worth to note that the project is funded by the European Union and managed by Heinrich Boll German Foundation (Palestine and Jordan Office) and implemented in East Jerusalem.
